Default PFC Brake Pads

Since no one has posted in the Brakes section I figured I would. Just want to recommend PFC 08's for anyone doing endurance racing. I have run Hawk HT-10's and PFC 01 & 06's. Typically after the first 9hrs we would have to changed pads. Just ran the PFC 08 (new compound) and they were great. I think I got the first set of 08's for a e30 application ( was in contact with their manufacturing manager during the first production run).

Lasted 18hrs with very little wear. We have a slightly modified bmw e30. The brake system is basically factory with air ducts piped in and stainless steel pistons with brass guide pins.

This pad was on the winning car for the Rolex at Daytona as well.

Highly recommend the pads for endurance racing.

I have always used carbotech 12s on my car...but I'm always willing to try new things.

I got a good deal on some EBC redstuff brake pads, probably not as good as carbotechs but they are an improvment over stock, so we will see how it goes at VIR.

Are those performance friction pads? If so, they are much better than stock but not as strong as Carbotech pads.

Redstuff is EBC's autocross/fast street compound. You'd be better off using the Yellowstuff pads or (on a heavy car) the Bluestuff pads

+1 for PFC

I had the first set of 01 and 08 for the 370Z. Great pads for HPDEs. I haven't used the 01s yet for anything. Ran the 08s at Autocross too and they did well.
